Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 October 2026

These are the terms you agree to when you use Nidaan. Please read them. If anything is unclear, email support@nidaan.site and we'll explain.

1. Who runs this

Nidaan ("we", "our") is a mobile app and website operated by Amardeep Kumar, an independent developer based in India. "You" means anyone who opens the website or uses the app.

2. What Nidaan does — and doesn't

Nidaan is a tool. It reads prescription and lab report images using AI, explains them in plain English, remembers your medicines and vitals, sends you reminders, and lets you ask health questions.

Nidaan is not a doctor. It explains what your reports say. It does not diagnose any condition, prescribe medicines, or replace a qualified medical professional. Always consult a doctor before changing medicines, starting treatment, or making decisions about your health. In an emergency, call a doctor or hospital — not an app.

3. Your account

4. What you can and cannot do

You may use Nidaan for personal health tracking for yourself and your family.

You may not:

5. Subscriptions and payments

By subscribing, you authorise Razorpay to debit your UPI / card on the same day each month. You can cancel autopay anytime from inside the app or your UPI app. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

6. Content you upload

You keep ownership of the prescriptions, reports, and messages you upload. You give us a limited licence to process them so the app can do its job — explain, store, remind you. We delete your content when you ask us to, or when you delete your account.

7. AI output

Nidaan's AI explanations are generated by language models (OpenAI). AI can occasionally misread handwriting, miss a detail, or make a mistake. Treat the AI's output as a helpful summary, never as the final word. The source — your prescription or report — is always what matters most.

8. Service availability

We try hard to keep Nidaan running 24/7, but we can't promise zero downtime. Scheduled maintenance, server issues, OpenAI outages, or your own network can interrupt service. We're not liable for losses caused by downtime.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Nidaan is provided "as is". We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app — including any medical decision you take based on something the AI explained. Our total liability in any dispute is capped at the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

10. Changes to the service and these terms

We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we'll notify you inside the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Nidaan after the change means you accept the new terms.

11. Account termination

You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms (fraud, abuse, scraping, reselling). If we close your account, you lose access to features but we'll still delete your data on request.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
